Sheep..and more sheep...

Now this book is for me. It's quite lovely actually. It shows a
picture of each type of sheep and gives detailed info on them also. If
you are a spinner it's a great picture reference. Alexis's boyfriends
parents just got back from Ireland. She was telling me that the
farmers paint their sheep different colors such as pink,blue, ect. in
order to tell them apart in the pasture. She said it was a site! I
can't wait to go to Ireland next year!!!

Lady Bug, Lady Bug Fly Away

I bought a Lendrum a few months ago which I love. Truly. I haven't been spinning at all really because I have been soooo busy with working between to hospitals. However, that will be ending at the end of October when one of the hospitals closes. This is when I am finally going to have time to craft again. Mainly spinning and knitting. I really have had my eye on this wheel which is so flippin cute. The Schacht Ladybug. Each wheel comes with a hidden ladybug symbol on it of your very own. I will eventually buy it next year to have the two wheels...kind of like chocolate...you can't have just one, plus my youngest daughter likes to spin so we can do it together:)

What shall I name her?

Well, I did it.  I broke down and bought the Lendrum wheel.   I can't wait until Friday or Monday to see her...yes, her...I name my things...I'm weird I know.  My old car is called Betsy and my Kindle is called Winny.  The Lendrum needs a name!  

Fickle

I took a spinning class at Hank's Yarn and Fiber this month.  I'm a self taught knitter ,crocheter, quilter, sewer, rug hooker, cooker and mother,  but spinning actually intimidated me.  So I broke down and paid for the class, flirted with the wheel, courted her and now am completely smitten.  I am renting a Louet, but want my very own to love forever! It's between the Louet Julia ..............................................................
or the Lendrum DT. I'm a very fickle girl. Can't make a decision. Leaning more towards the Lendrum.....I think?
