Easter Pictures
Ashley and I still had the baby bunnies at Easter so we were able to use them as props:) Her Easter pictures really came out cute. I can't wait to get my new Nikon to make the quality of the pictures sooo much better. Our eye is already good I think.

We took a huge amount of pictures. These are just a select few.......

Being Thankful
I have many things to be thankful for this year.
1. My healthy wonderful kids and granddaughter.
2. A man that loves me.
3. A good job
4. Good friends
5. Roof over my head and food on the table
6. My grandmother, who is like my mother, is still alive.
When the basics are listed out, I think it puts life in perspective. It's not how much money you have or how many material things you have. It's about being with the ones you love.
It doesn't feel like Thanksgiving down here in the South (I'm a Yankee). But I am excited to hear that a cold front is moving in...I think on Thanksgiving Day. Yeah!!! I'm off work this year. Finally, I can cook. Pepper and her family are coming to celebrate (eat) with us. Then off to the movies and then off to wait in line for the Balck Friday deals. Whew...I'm tired already!

Witch Balls
Seeing that Halloween is on the near horizon, I thought I'd do some sharing of some fall favorites that intertwine with Halloween so to speak. I love witch balls. They are beautiful blown glass balls of all colors with intricate glass "webs" throughout. The history is quite intriguing. They were basically used to ward off evil spirits. The preferred location to hang them was above an East facing window. It was thought that the negative energy or spirit was attracted to the glass webs inside and would go to investigate and then become trapped.
I'm moving into a new house in a few weeks (another oldie) and plan on getting a few for my windows.

All Hallows Eve
I can't wait for Halloween. I've already started to bring out some goods and of course started buying some new stuff...like this adorable Bethany Lowe decoration that I snagged for a measley $25.00.
I've been eyeing these sparkle skeleton heads online and low and behold they were at my favorite store TJ Maxx...so a silver one and green one came home with me.
I loved this sign. It may have to stay up in my house???
